Terms of Service
1. Scope and Acceptance
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) concern the website operated by Aptissmorum LLC (“Aptissimorum,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) and any related services we make available under these Terms (“Services”). We are developing Chimera, an AI agent platform for individuals and developers.
These Terms apply to Services actually offered. Descriptions of products under development are informational and do not represent that they are presently accessible, released or available for purchase. Where an account, subscription or other function requires separate acceptance or additional terms, we will provide those terms through the applicable process.
2. Eligibility
Our Services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. If you act for an organization, you must be authorized to do so. Do not misrepresent your identity or your authority to enter into an agreement.
3. Products in Development
Aptissimorum is developing the following offerings:
Chimera Hosted. A planned fully managed personal AI agent service offering operated infrastructure, computing resources, deployment, maintenance and potentially a limited model usage allowance.
Chimera Developer. A planned SDK and hosted API offering supporting developer-built or self-managed Agents, including proprietary capabilities such as Computer Use, Memory and intelligent model routing.
Chimera Custom. A proposed individualized service for developing, configuring, integrating, deploying and operating tailored Agent workflows for consumers. Each engagement will require separate agreed terms.
We do not promise a particular release date, price, model allowance, operational feature or level of availability until it is expressly offered.
4. No Paid Subscriptions or Payments at Present
Aptissimorum has published planned early-access pricing for Chimera Hosted, but does not currently offer paid subscriptions or accept customer payments through this website. Visiting the site, providing an inquiry or joining a future waitlist does not create a paid obligation.
Before launching paid services, we will provide any applicable pricing, recurring payment and renewal terms, usage allowances and limits, cancellation and refund rules, applicable payment provider information, and affirmative authorization mechanisms. No future recurring charges arise under these pre-launch Terms alone.
Our planned cancellation and refund rules for Chimera Hosted are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy at https://aptissimorum.si/refunds.
5. One Chimera Architecture; Different Operating Models
Chimera Hosted and self-managed deployments are designed around the same underlying Agent capabilities and SDK/runtime. The principal difference is that Hosted is intended to provide infrastructure and management, while self-managed users operate their own environments.
Some capabilities rely on proprietary APIs and may require a network connection, credentials or separately disclosed usage arrangements when offered. This does not imply that Hosted and self-managed versions are different underlying Agent products.
6. Software and Intellectual Property
Aptissimorum and its licensors retain rights in our trademarks, proprietary software, algorithms, documentation, technical designs, and service implementations. We may distribute SDK components and other material under separate software licenses. The applicable license governs such components and prevails where it conflicts with these Terms.
Certain proprietary Computer Use, Memory and Router algorithms may be available only through hosted APIs. Access to an API does not grant ownership of, or a license to redistribute, its underlying proprietary implementation.
You may not access our Services unlawfully, intentionally bypass applicable technical access controls, or misappropriate proprietary information. Nothing in these Terms overrides rights granted by applicable open-source licenses or mandatory law.
7. User Content and Outputs
You retain the rights you hold in content you provide, including instructions, documents, files and, when available, Agent memories or other user-supplied information (“User Content”). Aptissimorum does not acquire ownership of User Content merely because it is processed by a Service.
To the extent needed for a Service you authorize, you grant us a limited permission to host, transmit and process User Content to deliver that Service, maintain operational security and comply with law. You are responsible for having necessary rights and permissions to supply the content.
As between you and us, you retain any rights you may have in outputs generated for you, subject to law and third-party rights. AI-generated material is not necessarily protectable by intellectual property law and may be similar to outputs received by others.
Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Authorized Agent Operations and Acceptable Use
When Chimera functionality becomes available, it may interact with external websites, applications, computers and connected services under the user’s configuration or instructions. Users must have the necessary authority to access the relevant systems and request the actions involved.
You must not use any Service to gain unauthorized access, interfere unlawfully with other systems, distribute malicious code, misappropriate information, infringe intellectual property rights or conduct unlawful activity. Certain operations may require user review or authorization depending on implementation.
Automated agents can make mistakes; users should independently review consequential actions and decisions.
9. External AI and Other Services
Future functionality may depend on third-party AI model providers, applications, cloud services and APIs. These may have their own terms, security properties, privacy practices, availability limitations and costs. Supported integrations and any user-supplied credentials will be described when the applicable functionality is introduced.
Aptissimorum cannot guarantee that third-party services will continue to provide unchanged compatibility or access.
10. Custom Solution Inquiries
An inquiry about Chimera Custom is not an accepted purchase order or binding development agreement. If we agree to undertake a custom project, the parties will document its scope, deliverables, fees, milestones, acceptance criteria, intellectual property allocation, hosting responsibilities and support terms in a separate written agreement. That agreement governs the particular project where it addresses matters differently.
11. Service Changes and Availability
Our website and pre-release product descriptions may change as development progresses. We may modify or remove early-access material or planned features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted website availability. Any future paid-service commitments will be governed by their actual published and accepted terms.
12. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict access as reasonably necessary to address security incidents, unlawful use or material violations of these Terms, subject to applicable law. Users may cease using the website and available Services at any time.
When account-based Services launch, account closure, export and deletion procedures will be described in the relevant product information and Privacy Policy. Termination of a Service does not cancel rights separately granted under an open-source software license.
13. Disclaimer and Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our website and any expressly identified evaluation or pre-release features are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. AI-generated outputs may be incorrect or incomplete, and automated operations can produce unexpected results.
Nothing in these Terms limits statutory consumer rights or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Commercial service liability allocation and any aggregate cap: not yet finalized.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. Parties may attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us before proceeding in a court of competent jurisdiction.
No mandatory arbitration clause or class-action waiver is introduced by this draft.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as our website and products evolve. We will update the effective date and provide notice or request additional agreement when required. A revised version will not, on its own, create a new paid subscription or payment obligation without your authorization.
